Roe v. Wade Protests - Washington D.C. - 2022 & 2023

Protestors flooded streets in front of the U.S. Supreme Court building in Washington the day the Roe v. Wade ruling was reversed. The Supreme Court ruling lasted for almost half a century, and was overturned by a conservative court; three of the nine judges being appointed by former president Donald Trump. In 2022, the year the ruling was overturned,  immediate protests occurred on the streets of DC. A year later, in 2023, protests were organized by activists that led a march from Union Station to the front steps of the Supreme Court.
